Stormers set for Bok boost against Ospreys?
INJURY UPDATE: Stormers forwards coach Rito Hlungwani confirmed three players, including a Springbok, will return to training following time on the sideline due to injury.
The Stormers had the perfect start to the 2025/26 United Rugby Championship season by defeating defending champions Leinster by 35-0 at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
The result sees them on top of the URC standings after Round One, and they’ll face the Ospreys at home this Friday on home turf once more.
The Capetonians finished their season opener without any casualties and will have reinforcements back soon.
Hlungwani confirmed the players who will start that training following their casualties, but didn’t clarify when they’ll be up for selection.

“Everyone who played against Leinster is fit,” Hlungwani said.
“It’s just Marcel [Theunissen] had a laceration, but he is fine as far as I know.
“Everyone is fit. Some guys are returning to full fitness.
“Oli Kebble, Sazi Sandi, and Deon Fourie are all returning to training.”
The Stormers are still without the services of Ali Vermaak, Frans Malherbe, Ntuthuko Mchunu, Salmaan Moerat, Warrick Gelant, Imad Khan, Suleiman Hartzenberg and Jean-Luc du Plessis due to injury.
They’re also missing star flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Cobus Reinach and Damian Willemse, who are on national duty.
They could possibly only be available for selection in late December or early January, following their national commitments and mandatory Bok resting periods.
