VIDEO: Coetzee - Why Glasgow is a tough nut to crack
WATCH as Bulls loose forward Marcell Coetzee explains what makes Glasgow Warriors a difficult outfit to play against.
The two sides will meet for the first time since the Warriors upset the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld last season to win the 2023-24 United Rugby Championship title.
The fixture has all the ingredients to be dubbed as a ‘grudge match’, and there will be no love lost when these sides meet at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday.
Coetzee, however, had heaps of praise for the hosts and explained why they are a difficult opponent to play against and what the Bulls’ approach will be to get a positive result.

“The times we’ve played them here in the past [at Scotstoun Stadium] they started very well.
“They play a high-tempo game, [and] got a great attacking set-piece going for them. It’s a difficult team to analyse because they’re so strong in all areas.
“We will go out and control what we can and nullify it to an extent. We will make sure that we also impose ourselves on the day.
“The plan against Munster worked out to perfection and the boys executed perfectly. That will be the challenge going into [the] Glasgow [match].
“Coach Franco [Smith] is regarded as one of the best coaches in the [URC] tournament and we’ve got great respect for him and what he’s done for Glasgow.
“You can see his imprint that he has done for them. But we have to be awake and smart and it’s going to come down to who wants it most and who executes the plan better on the day.”
