VIDEO: Jenkins exposes Leinster's secret to success

WATCH as Sharks lock Jason Jenkins provides insight into what makes Leinster such a successful outfit.

Jenkins donned the blue of Leinster between 2022 and 2024 and represented them on 39 occasions.

He joined the Sharks in 2024 and is a key cog in the side’s engine room.

Ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship showdown, the 29-year-old shared his Leinster experience with reporters.

“Their systems in Ireland are really good. The guys are coached well from a young age,” Jenkins told @rugby365com.

“They tend to focus more on smaller groups because they don’t have the luxury that South Africa has with the amount of talent that comes through each year.

“So they have a more concentrated pool, which gives them continuity.

“But also from Leinster’s point of view – they all understand the game plan and put in so much effort.

“I know how much they do analysis and work off the field and not just on the field, in regards to their personal skills.

“That is really a point of difference for them.”
