'Intelligent' Dagbreek into final

Steinhoff Dagbreek played an intelligent game to edge out Steinhoff Maroela 21-15 in their 2010 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby Championships semifinal in Pretoria on Monday evening.

The visitors – who led 18-3 at half-time – played most of the match with just 14 men, but they played clever, intelligent rugby to move into the 2010 final where they will meet Steinhoff Vishuis, who hail from Bloemfontein.

Dagbreek had winger Jonathan Snyman sent off in the 22nd minute for punching, but they held their nerve to move into the final against the in-form Men from Shimlas.

The 2010 Koshuis Final will be played in Stellenbosch – Dagbreek’s home ground – as the Maties will be hosting the 2010 FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International Final at the Danie Craven Stadium.
