Victory for Stellenbosch

FNB Maties picked up a morale-boosting WP Super League victory on Wednesday – the perfect tonic ahead of this weekend’s Intervarsity meeting with the Ikey Tigers.

The Maties beat Helderberg 48-11 at the Danie Craven Stadium – a good victory for the three-times Varsity Cup winners who have suffered recent losses to Hamilton’s and False Bay.

The Men in Maroon will next play UCT – at Groote Schuur – this Saturday afternoon (kick-off 4pm); a crucial match in terms of National Club Championships qualification.
