Another victory for TUT

FNB TUT backed up last week’s Carlton League win over Silver Valke, with a 29-16 win over Harlequins at the weekend.

TUT beat Silver Valke 24-8 last weekend, despite being down at half-time. This week, however, they led at the break; converting their 10-5 advantage into a 29-6, bonus point-clinching victory.

Fullback Mpho Matsaung and No.7 flank Johan Steenkamp scored tries for the Varsity Cup side, with left-wing Wynand Willis adding a valuable brace.

Flyhalf and captain Werner Pieterse converted three of his team’s four tries, as well as adding a penalty goal.
