Crouse, November get semifinals
Referees Ben Crouse and Dilbert November have been appointed to officiate next Monday’s Varsity Cup semifinals in Cape Town and Stellenbosch.
Both Crouse and November have proven themselves in the 2010 FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International and their Last Four appointments are just reward.
The appointment of the semifinal referees is done on merit from the referees who refereed in the league phase of the 2010 Varsity Cup. (Recently, November refereed the excellent match at Danie Craven Stadium between the Maties and the Ikeys.)
Crouse – who will referee UCT v Shimlas, the first semifinal – is a schoolmaster from Waterkloof in Pretoria.
November – who will handle Maties v Pukke, a repeat of last year’s final – is a traffic officer from Mossel Bay.
