Ikeys held to a draw at home

FNB UCT were held to a 19-19 draw by a plucky SK Walmers side in WP Super League action at a cold Groote Schuur on Friday evening.

The visitors led 13-10 at half-time, but were unable to put away their opponents in the second half.

Both sides scored one try each, both of which were converted, with Matt Rosslee kicking a further four penalties for the double Varsity Cup finalists.

Idris Arendse and Naas Prinsloo kicked two penalties each for the visiting side, but UCT had their chances to win the match in the dying stages, only to twice lose the ball over the goalline.
