Tuks crush UCT
Tuks opened the scoring after 13 minutes when wing Duhan van der Merwe went over for a try. Joshua Stander converted to give the Pretoria side a nine-point lead.
UCT hit back three minutes later when they scored a seven-point try to reduce the deficit to two points.
However, it was all Tuks after that with as they scored another six tries before half-time to lead 63-7 against a poor UCT outfit.
UCT came out fighting in the second half with flyhalf Thomas Bednall scoring two nine-point tries, which pushed UCT's tally up to 25 points.
However, it did not take long for Tuks to regain their try-scoring form as they scored their seventh try in the 52nd minute to lead 70-25.
Van der Merwe then scored his fourth try of the game in the 61st minute. Stander converted as Tuks continued to dominate the team from Cape Town.
Tuks then scored another two tries before full-time to win by a mammoth 75 points.
