UKZN power past TUT

UKZN raced to a 16-0 lead after the first ten minutes after tries by Thobekani Buthelezi and Litha Vumisa. Tristan Tedder converted both tries.

Another two tries by Grant Rattray and captain Marius Louw, both converted by Tedder, ensured that defending champions went into half-time leading 32-0.

It was more of the same in the second half, when Buthelezi got his second try in the 42nd minute.

Despite the scoreline, TUT were looking better in the second half and they scored their opening try through Kurt Mackay in the 53rd minute.

However, it was all UKZN from then on as the defending champions scored another four tries to win by a 64-point margin.
