Vikings into the semifinals

The FNB TUT Vikings qualified for the semifinals of the 2010 Carlton Cup thanks to their 25-13 win over the Silver Valke this past weekend.

The Vikings, who finished second last on the 2010 Varsity Cup standings, scored three tries in their win and will now play against Police in the semifinals.

Of course, they will be joined in the play-offs by fellow Varsity Cup side, FNB Tuks, who ended top of the Carlton Cup log.

The semifinals will take place at Loftus Versfeld this Saturday; with the Blue Bulls hosting the Leopards in Currie Cup action at the same venue on Friday evening.
