LISTEN as Bulls loose forward Nizaam Carr speaks about his role in the team.
Carr, who made his Springbok debut in 2014 and earned five Test caps, has made the most of his time in both his stints with the Bulls.
The loose forward has been used as an impact player off the bench for most of the Bulls’ United Rugby Championship campaign, but he is willing to go above and beyond for his side.
With Springbok loose forwards Elrigh Louw and Cameron Hanekom on the casualty list, Carr started at No.8 against his former team the Stormers three weeks ago.
It could again be the case for the 33-year-old when the Bulls face the unbeaten Leinster at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Carr said he is willing to contribute to the best of his ability in whichever role he is entrusted with.

“You want to be involved [in every match] but that’s not always the case.
“Wherever I’m needed I will be there for the team.
“I don’t mind playing 80, 50 or 20 minutes.
“Even if I come on for one minute and I get an opportunity to chase one ball down the line I will do it.
“I’m available for whatever is needed and I’m really lucky and blessed to still be involved.
“My body feels good, I feel good mentally and physically.
“I’m just happy to be involved and things are going really well and I’m enjoying it.
“I would like to start every game, but that isn’t always the case.
“If I can make an impact off the bench which has been my role lately, I’m more than happy and willing to do it.”
