Preview: Superbru Round Three

With the strange lockout times and rounds for Superbru Fantasy League I have decided to do a round by round short and sweet analysis of Fantasy options along with Superbru predictions.

It's tough to predict which players will be selected by many of the "bigger" teams as there is constant rotation of players against the "smaller" sides.

* Please note that this article was written before teams were announced. Make sure your selections are indeed starting.

Finally please note that you can still join our leagues. Sign up details at the bottom of the article. We encourage you all to join, and yes there are prizes!

ROUND Three:

MATCH One: Wales vs Fiji

Wales coming off an impressive victory over England will look to cement their spot in the quarterfinals with a victory over Fiji. I believe Wales have too much for this Fiji outfit.

Superbru Score Prediction: Wales by 18

Tipped Fantasy Players: Preview: Superbru Round Three

Dan Biggar: Flyhalf (Wales)

Alum Wynn Jones: Lock (Wales)

Leone Nakarawa: Lock (Fiji)

MATCH 2: France vs Canada

One way traffic here, I expect France to select their best team and give Canada a wallop!

Superbru Score Prediction: France by 27

MATCH 3: New Zealand vs Georgia

New Zealand should thump Georgia. I think that New Zealand will also play a couple of their second stringers for this clash.

Superbru Score Prediction: New Zealand by 50

Tipped Fantasy Players:

Beauden Barrett: Flyhalf(New Zealand)

Waisake Naholo: Wing (New Zealand) if fit

Sam Cane: Flank (New Zealand)

Nehe Milner-Skudder: Wing (New Zealand)

MATCH 4: Samoa vs Japan

This should be a good battle. Samoa were not great against the Springboks while Japan were terrible against the Scots. I expect Samoa to bounce back and win this one.

Tim Nanai-Williams : Fullback (Samoa)

Rey Lee-Lo: Centre (Samoa)

Jack Lan: Flank (Samoa)

Amanaki Mafi: 8th Man (Japan)

Damien De Allende: Centre (South Africa)

Eben Etzebeth: Lock (South Africa)

We are running two leagues for the World Cup

The first of which is:

Fantasy Rugby World Cup League where you select players from various teams to make up your Fantasy side and then they are scored according to per. This takes some skill, but if you think you know your rugby I highly recommend you play!.

And the second is:

World Cup Predictor Pool: More laid back than the "Fantasy League" we encourage you to join us. This league is all about predicting what you think the scores will be and you guessed it… the person who gets the closest scores wins the league!.
