Jennings remains at the Sharks

Jennings who became the youngest player ever to sign for the club as a 16-year-old back in 2009 has represented England at Under-16,U18 and U20 level and is still only 24-years-old.

Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, "Mark has come through the ranks at Sharks. He is a local lad from Lymm and has been mentored by internationals Jonny Leota and Sammy Tuitupou.

"He has stayed loyal to the club since joining as a 16-year-old and he will play a big part in what we are building at the club.”

On signing his contract Jennings said, "Delighted to have a new contract. It’s an exciting place to be and I want to play my part in helping the club achieve its ambitions,"
