Jordaan is the second Sharks' player in the last week to sign for an overseas club. Hooker Kyle Cooper will be joining the Newcastle Falcons, after the English Premiership outfit announced his signing last week.

"It's always sad losing players of their calibre; but they have decided that the time is right to experience a new playing culture in a different country," said Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold.

"“They both have made significant contributions to the Sharks over the last few years and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them, as well as their families, the very best for this new journey."
