Amorosino pays the price
Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has fingered fullback Lucas Amorosino as the main culprit in his team's loss to South Africa last week.
Phelan made just one change to his starting XV for the return match, following the Springboks' 27-6 win over the Pumas in the opening round of the Rugby Championship at Newlands last week.
Rosario's Martín Rodríguez comes in at No.15 for the hapless Amorosino, who has a shocker in Cape Town – including a knock-on that resulted in the Boks' opening try.
The rest of the team remains unchanged.
Phelan said he will only name his replacement bench on Thursday.
The 26-man squad that travelled to South Africa remain unchanged, which means the seven-man bench will be selected from Marcos Ayerza, Martin Bustos Moyano, Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino, Juan Imhoff, Landajo Martin, Thomas Leonardi, Juan Pablo Orlandi, Bruno Postiglioni, Nicolás Sánchez, Leonardo Senatore and Tomas Vallejos.
South Africa top the Rugby Championship standings, on points difference from New Zealand, after the opening round. Argentina and Australia are looking for their first victories of the new Southern Hemisphere competition.
