Argentina seek consistency
Argentina's inexperience on the international stage has led to inconsistent performances during the Rugby Championship.
According to Los Pumas coach Daniel Hourcade, their inexperience has cost them valuable momentum and, ultimately, vital points in the competition.
"There were some unforced errors against New Zealand that were transformed into points [for them]. But I think we got back in the game and ended up playing well.
"What we lack is more and better competition throughout the year. The team is on pace with the requirements of the international stage but the reality of Argentine rugby is that we don't play this type of rugby consistently," he said.
The South Americans host the Wallabies in the final match of the competition and are hoping to play an exicting brand of rugby in order to finish on a high note.
"We hope to play our best match of the tournament and end the competition on a positive note. Australia already showed us what kind of opponent they are and it will certainly be a great challenge for us," he stated.
"This team deserves big support because they are making a tremendous effort and carry out the good things on the field.
"We do not lack much in every game, we try to be protagonists and I think we came very close to getting a win or even a draw.
"We hope to have the massive support of the people of Mendoza," he said.
