Italy replace Pez
Italy have been forced to replace Ramiro Pez, their Argentinean expatriate fly-half, for their tour to Uruguay and Argentina next month.
Pez was injured in the last Six Nations match and has not recovered sufficiently.
Pierre Berbizier, Italy’s coach, has brought in Overmach Parma’s Ezio Galon, who has eight caps. Galon was to have played for Italy A in the Nations Cup tournament in Bucharest. His place is taken in the A side by Samuele Pace on Arix Viadana.
Italy play Uruguay in Montevideo on 2 June and Argentina in Mendoza on 9 June.
