Match officials for remainder of Rugby Champs confirmed
NEWS: World Rugby has confirmed the match officials for the forthcoming rounds of the Rugby Championship.
The appointments have been made after an assessment of any COVID-related considerations as a result of the changes to the location of matches and where match officials travel from.
English referee Luke Pearce will take charge of the 100th Test between New Zealand and South Africa on September 25 in Townsville.
He will also have the whistle for the Boks’ first match in Australia against the Wallabies on the Gold Coast on September 12.
Matthew Carley, who is also from England, will be in charge of South Africa’s other matches against the Wallabies and the All Blacks.
