Match Officials for the Cape Town Sevens, Day 1
Paddy O’Brien and the other carers looking after the Cape Town Sevens’ match officials, have announced the match officials appointed to the matches on Day 1.
The matches and officials for Day 2 will depend on what happens on Day 1.
The referees for the tournament are James Doleman (New Zealand), Paulo Duarte (Portugal), Richard Haughton (England), Richard Kelly (New Zealand), Damon Murphy (Australia), Rasta Rasivhenge (South Africa), Matt Rodden (Hong Kong), Jérémy Rozier (France)
The assistant referees and in-goal judges are South Africans except for Victor Oduor from Kenya.
The matches take place at Cape Town Stadium, near Table Bay in what Sir Francis Drake called, the most beautiful cape in the whole circumference of the globe.
