Naholo, McKenzie included in NZ squad

The All Blacks squad flies out to Argentina on Friday to prepare for the Test against Argentina at Estadio Jose Amalfitani in Buenos Aires on Saturday, October 1.

The team then flies to South Africa for the Test at Kings Park, Durban, on Saturday, October 8.

Loose forward Sam Cane and first flyhalf Aaron Cruden will stay in New Zealand as they recover from injury.

McKenzie joins the squad as flyhalf cover for Beauden Barrett and Lima Sopoaga, but he can be used in a number of other positions if need be.

Naholo is one of for outside backs – Israel Dagg, Julian Savea and Ben Smith are the other back three options.  

Meanwhile, loose forward Jerome Kaino, who hurt his shoulder in the Test against South Africa on the weekend, will miss the Argentina leg of the trip to continue his rehabilitation in New Zealand, and will join the squad in South Africa.
