Pumas suffer pivotal blow
Argentina have been dealt a major blow with flyhalf Juan Martin Hernandez ruled out of Saturday's Rugby Championship match against South Africa with a torn leg muscle.
Hernandez had initially been named in the starting line-up for the weekend’s historic clash in Mendoza, but was forced to withdraw from the side after he suffered an injury near the end of an intense training session in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.
Argentina coach Santiago Phelan will announce Hernandez’s replacement after Thursday's training session in Mendoza.
