Barrett fit to run All Black show

All Black flyhalf Beauden Barrett looks to be fine to take his place in the team to play the Wallabies on Saturday at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, after taking a knock to the leg in training.

The No.10 limped out of training on Thursday with his left thigh iced which led to Colin Slade running the final few minutes of the session.

Barrett had his left thigh strapped as he went through a thorough kicking routine during the captain's run a Suncorp Stadium on Friday.

It was reported from the ground that while his leg looked a little stiff at times, Barrett drop-kicked, punted and goal-kicked with accuracy and length.

Captain Richie McCaw says the injury was a knee to the quad muscle, delivered by 'clumsy forward.

"I am pretty sure he is [going to play]," McCaw reported.

"A clumsy forward kneed him in the quad yesterday, but I think he is going to be alright."
