Chisholm commits to Bayonne

Former Wallaby lock Mark Chisholm signed a three-year contract extension with struggling Top 14 side Bayonne on Tuesday.

Chisholm, capped 13 times by the Wallabies, missed the 2011 World Cup because of a serious knee injury and opted to join the French club from the Brumbies following the 2011 Super Rugby season.

The 31-year-old has been injury free and in top form this year, appearing in 11 of Bayonne's 12 Top 14 games and taking over the captaincy.

"I left Australia to experience living in France, it has been extended and I am very happy," said Chisholm

Bayonne are 11th on the log, just five points above the relegation places.
