Coetzee blows a gasket over Van Graan's Munster link
It was reported (in Ireland) that Van Graan will take over from Johan Erasmus as Munster's Director of Rugby.
However, Bok head coach Coetzee did not want to hear any of it when a question about Van Graan's future was put to him after the Boks' 27-all draw with the Wallabies in Bloemfontein.
"Have you seen his contract? Has he signed anything? How can it be official?" Coetzee responded angrily.
"Heavily linked and signed is completely different. I don't want to talk about Johann van Graan. I think what we have to talk about is the next game [against the All Blacks] and this game [against the Wallabies] that has just been completed.
"Van Graan he has got no signed contract [with Munster]. He is a contracted assistant coach to SA Rugby and those are the facts.
"What Munster says is hearsay. There is nothing official."
According to reports, Erasmus will remain on in his current position at Munster until the end of the calendar year, giving van Graan a period to learn the ropes, ensuring a smooth transition under the brief tutelage of Erasmus.
