The 24-year old will also become the Wallabies 10th debutant of 2016, while fellow Rebel James Hanson will get the chance to add to his 10 Tests after being named on the bench

The hooker's last Test was over a year ago against the United States of America but he gets an opportunity in the absence of Tatafu Polota-Nau.

The Wallabies have never tasted victory at Loftus Versfeld but have won their last two games against the Springboks.

A win for Australia in Pretoria would all but secure second spot in the Rugby Championship with New Zealand having wrapped up the 2016 title.
