Double injury blow for England

INJURY UPDATE: England lost the services of star scrumhalf Ben Youngs due to injury.

Youngs and Ollie Lawrence have been withdrawn from the England squad for their three-day training camp.

Rugby Football Union released a statement confirming Youngs suffered a minor thigh injury during Leicester Tigers’ 33-26 win against Gloucester on Friday.

While Lawrence is unwell, however, his setback is not COVID-related.

The England squad are at The Lensbury, Teddington, for a three-day training camp.

The remaining 43 players will train on Tuesday, September 28 before returning to their clubs.
