Powerhouse forward returns to England squad

SQUAD UPDATE: Head coach Steve Borthwick has revealed an updated England training squad.

Billy Vunipola and Ollie Lawrence have returned to the squad as preparations continue for the 2023 World Cup.

Vunipola has not played a game since April and he has been recovering from knee surgery.

Bath centre Lawrence has also been recovering from a knee injury.

Meanwhile, prop Bevan Rodd has been included in the squad, while Cadan Murley and Val Rapava-Ruskin have been omitted.

Rodd was originally cut from the squad last weekend.

Ollie Chessum (Leicester Tigers) and Jack Walker (Harlequins) will also join up with the squad to continue their rehabilitation.
