Statistics - Heineken Cup quarterfinals
The Heineken Cup quarterfinals bustled in for two hectic days when the snow stayed away and rugby was possible. We give some statistics from the four matches.

Sanctions
There was a red card – shown just before the final whistle to Viliami Vaki of Perpignan who lost his rag with Steffon Armitage of London Irish when Armitage dived on him when in touch and after the whistle.
Carlos Nieto was shown a yellow card for infringing at a tackle and cost his side three points.
Lee Byrne of Ospreys earned a yellow card for a deliberate knock on when Saracens were in a good position to score.
There were two in the match between Toulouse and Cardiff Blues – against Cédric Heymans of Toulouse and Jason Spice of Cardiff Blues, both for tackle infringements.
Lesley Vainikolo may well have been lucky not to be sent to the sin bin for losing his rag. (Was that a lampshade or a doily on his head?)
