Trio return to England training

Manu Tuilagi, Toby Flood and Courtney Lawes have all returned to England training and will be in contention to play against Wales at Twickenham in the Six Nations on February 25.

The trio have missed the first two matches of England’s campaign – away victories over Scotland and Italy – because of injury, but were recalled to the squad by interim coach Stuart Lancaster.

Flood, who has been recovering from a knee injury, will fight for the flyhalf spot with Charlie Hodgson, who has scored match-winning tries from charge-downs in both of England wins.

Tuilagi and Lawes both played for club sides in the English league over the weekend after regaining their fitness following a hamstring and knee injuries, respectively.
