VIDEO: Missed penalty result in miracle try

WATCH as England prospect and Harlequins flyhalf Marcus Smith’s missed penalty produced a remarkable try for teammate Joe Marchant.

Smith lined up to take a penalty early in the second half, but his kick looked to be held up in the wind and pushed right of the target.

However the ball fell into the leaping arms of Marchant, who chased and read the kick beautifully and used his momentum from the jump to carry him backwards for the score. Smith then converted, giving Quins a 20-12 lead.

Despite that miracle moment, Harlequins eventually suffered a 20-25 defeat to Saracens.
