VIDEO: Will England bad boy be cited for this shocker?
REACTION: There has been a mass outcry against England bad boy Ellis Genge, following what appears to be a deliberate act of foul play.
Video footage shows Genge en an exchange on the ground with an opponent, during England’s humiliating 18-32 loss to England in their final Six Nations outing in Dublin at the weekend.
Genge appears to land repeated blows with his elbow to the head and neck of the Irish player on the floor.
It was pretty awful behaviour.
It is not the first time this season that a social media storm blew up over the English player’s infield behaviour.
In England’s loss to Wales earlier in the season, video footage captured what appears to be Genge landing a headbutt on a Welsh player.
As was the case of the Irish loss, the referee, his assistants and the TMO all missed the action.
However, the question remains: ‘Will he be cited?’
