There veteran No.8 has suffered an arm fracture in Saracens’ 27-24 win over Racing 92 in a European Cup Round Six match at the weekend.

Vunipola suffered the injury seven minutes into the Men in Black’s victory over the French club, which saw them advance to the quarterfinals – where they will play Leinster.

The No.8 will see a consultant over the coming days to determine the full extent of the injury before undergoing rehabilitation.

France host England in Paris in the opening round of the Six Nation on February 2.

England plays Scotland in Edinburgh a week later.
