Gloucester ace to captain Fiji
Gloucester flank Akapusi Qera has been named as captain of Fiji for the upcoming international series which sees the Pacific Islanders take on Portugal, Italy, Romania and the Barbarians.
Qera, who has been an integral part of the Gloucester back row under Nigel Davies, leads his country again after the successful Pacific Nations Cup campaign.
Qera will be joined by fellow Premiership islanders Vereniki Goneva, of Leicester Tigers. Glasgow Warriors pair Jerry Yanuyanutawa and Niko Matawalu have also been named in the squad.
The islanders will face Portugal on November 8, Italy on November 16 and Romania on November 23 before rounding off their tour against the Barbarians at Twickenham on November 30.
