Strong Fiji side looking for third consecutive win
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Fiji has named a strong side to face Ireland in Dublin on Saturday but the Pacific Islanders will be without one of their superstars.
Semi Radradra’s Nations Series came to an abrupt end following a ban after he received a red card in their victory over Wales twelve days ago.
Playing on the wing in Cardiff, the 32-year-old was initially only yellow carded by referee Luc Ramos following his shoulder-to-head, first-half collision with Welsh fullback Cameron Winnett.
The Fijians will be in high spirits going into the Ireland match after they defeated Wales 24-19 and then saw off Spain 33-19 last week.
The starting XV features Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Luke Tagi forming a powerful front row. Mesake Vocevoce and Temo Mayanavanua will combine in the second row, while a dynamic back row sees Meli Derenalagi, Kitione Salawa, and Elia Canakaivata lining up.
