Smith set for French move

French rugby paper Midi Olympique says Smith is set to sign for the French top 14 team Pau.

It has also been reported that Irish province Munster is another team trying to get Smith's services.

Smith could be joining fellow All Blacks Conrad Smith and Colin Slade if he signed for Pau.

New Zealand Rugby are currently trying to keep Ben Smith, Aaron Cruden and Israel Dagg in the country. The trio's contracts will come to an end at the end of 2017.
