Bok star says goodbye to French giants
NEWS: Springbok wing JP Pietersen confirmed his departure from French giants Toulon.
The 32-year-old announced the news on social media.
“Goodbye. Thank you @RCTofficiel for the opportunity to have been a part of this great club. To the people of Toulon, thank you for welcoming my family and I, we really appreciate the love,” said Pietersen.
“I just want to wish @RCTofficiel the best of luck for next season.”
Pietersen joined Toulon in 2017 after a stint with English side Leicester Tigers.
He was all stalwart for South Africa’s Sharks team between 2005 and 2016. He also has 70 Test caps for the Springboks.
At this stage Pietersen’s playing future is unclear.
