Confirmed: Three Bulls players join Meyer at Stade Francais

NEWS: The Blue Bulls Company confirmed that three of their current contracted players have been temporarily released to play in France.

Hanro Liebenberg, André Warner and Hendré Stassen have been released on a short-term arrangement to European club Stade Francais Paris.

The players will be returning to re-join the squad at Loftus for the Super Rugby season in 2019.

The Blue Bulls Company said they were excited about their strategic relationship forming with Stade Francais Paris.

“In the long term this really assists us in retaining players within the SA Rugby structures, but more importantly it gives our guys the opportunity to gain more international experience,” said Xander Janse van Rensburg, High Performance manager of the Blue Bulls Company.

Heyneke Meyer, who his a former Bulls and Springbok coach, is currently in charge of Stade Francais.
