Debaty gets French recall
France coach Philippe Saint-André has called up Vincent Debaty and Jocelino Suta as his side prepare for Saturday's Six Nations clash against Ireland in Dublin.
Saint-André called on the duo after injuries to prop Alexandre Menini and lock Alexandre Flanquart following France's 15-8 win over Scotland last Saturday.
Menini was forced to withdraw at half-time against Scotland with a foot injury while Flanquart did not feature in the game as he continues to struggle with a neck injury.
Gaël Fickou has also left the France squad and re-joined club side Toulouse.
A statement announcing the squad read: "Alexandre Flanquart [Stade Francais] is not reset to 100 per cent from his neck injury in order to train during collective sessions with touch this week. Jocelino Suta [RC Toulon] replaces him in the France group.
"Alexandre Menini [RC Toulon] injured his right foot during Sunday's meeting and is replaced by Vincent Debaty [Clermont Auvergne].
"Gaël Fickou [Stade Toulousain], who was called into the France group in Canet en Roussillon to compensate for the absence of captain Thierry Dusautoir has re-joined his club."
Debaty has not featured for France since the [2014] mid-year tour to Australia – where France lost all their three Tests while Suta's last appearance for Le Bleus was during the 2013 RBS Nations.
