Fiji wing Nagusa extends Montpellier stay

The 29-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of next season but will now run until 2020.

Nagusa, who joined from Irish province Ulster in 2010, is Montpellier's all-time top try-scorer with 73.

He is one of only three current players – alongside Fulgence Ouedraogo and Benoit Paillaugue – to have featured in Montpellier's only Top 14 Final appearance, a 10-15 defeat to Toulouse in 2011.

The talented but controversial star missed the first couple of months of this season after remaining in Fiji following his holidays for personal reasons – something which earnt him a three-day suspension when he finally returned to work.

Meanwhile, fellow backs Benjamin Fall and Yvan Reilhac will miss the next four to six weeks, Montpellier said.

Both suffered thigh injuries in Sunday's 61-22 thrashing of Bayonne and means they may miss the rest of the Top 14 season, which ends on June 4.
