France lose headbutting Parra

France scrumhalf Morgan Parra will miss next weekend’s Six Nations clash with Scotland after receiving a two-week suspension.

Parra copped the suspension after he was red carded for headbutting Montpellier’s All Black utility back Rene Ranger last Saturday.

"Morgan Parra is suspended for two consecutive matches on the grounds of 'excitability'," a disciplinary statement read.

The 54-Test No.9 will serve the first match on Saturday when Clermont play Bordeaux-Begles and the second next weekend when Les Bleus visit Murrayfield.
