Stade said that the clubs had been negotiating for “several weeks” and that Fickou will join Racing “on July 1, 2021”.

The 26-year-old Fickou has played 62 times for France and was part of the team that kept alive their chances of winning this season’s Six Nations by beating Wales 32-30 on Saturday.

He arrived in Paris from Toulouse in 2018. He leaves Stade Francais with two years left on his contract to make the short move to Racing, who play in the suburb of Nanterre.

According to French media reports, Fickou has signed for Racing 92 for the next four seasons.
