Lauret gets the nod for France

Philippe Saint-Andre has made one change to France's starting XV for Friday's Six Nations clash with Wales.

Wenceslas Lauret comes into the back row, with the Racing Metro flank replacing Bernard Le Roux at No.7.

Saint-Andre has also made changes to his bench – bringing in flyhalf Remi Tales, hooker Brice Mach and prop Vincent Debaty.

"'Wen' comes back after a quality match with Racing last week [18-8 against Bayonne]," said Saint-Andre.

"So to put him with Yannick [Nyanga] and Louis [Picamoles] is a logical choice with regard to the balance of our back row."

Tales impressed for France during the November international and having returned to form and fitness with Castres, he was recalled to the training squad in place of Francois Trinh-Duc last week.

The rest of the squad remains the same – with Jean-Marc Doussain and Jules Plisson continuing their halfback partnership, while Wesley Fofana and Mathieu Bastareaud, over whom there were fitness doubts, make up the centres.

Again on the wings will be Hugo Bonneval, who scored a try on his debut last time out against Italy, and Yoann Huget with Brice Dulin at fullback.

Pascal Pape continues as captain in the second row, alongside Yoann Maestri and joining Lauret in the back row are Yannick Nyanga and Louis Picamoles.

And props Thomas Domingo and Nicolas Mas pack down either side of Dimitri Szarzewski.
