McGuigan to miss Scotland's France showdown

Sale wing McGuigan was injured during the second half of Scotland's opening Six Nations defeat by Wales at the weekend and has returned to his club for treatment.

"Scotland wing Byron McGuigan has been ruled out of this Sunday's Six Nations Test against France at Murrayfield with a hamstring injury," a statement on the Scottish Rugby Union website read.

Scotland chiefs also confirmed lock Richie Gray (calf) and centre Duncan Taylor (head) will not join up with the squad ahead of the Murrayfield encounter after failing to shake off their injuries.
