Scotland add more names to growing injury list
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Scotland suffered a double injury blow with the news that Luke Crosbie and Richie Gray have been ruled out of the Six Nations tournament.
Loose forward Crosbie sustained a shoulder injury and lock Gray picked up a bicep injury during Scotland’s 27-26 win over Wales in the Six Nations Round One clash in Cardiff.
The good news is that South African-born prop WP Nel and wing Darcy Graham, who picked up a quadricep injury last month, are recovering well.
The pair will resume training with Edinburgh this week.
Glasgow Warriors Max Williamson and Alex Samuel are training with the squad this week, along with Jamie Dobie and Euan Ferrie.
Rory Darge and Grant Gilchrist have also returned to the squad after missing the Six Nations opener in Cardiff.
Flank Darge was nursing a knee injury and lock Gilchrist was suspended.
