Scots use French lessons on Welsh
Fullback Stuart Hogg is convinced Scotland know what went wrong against France and that they can upset Wales in Edinburgh.
The Scottish fullback is raring to go as his team loo to bounce back from their opening round Six Nations loss to France.
The French defeated Scotland 15-8 at the Stade de France on Saturday and Hogg has claimed Vernon Cotter's Scots know why they lost.
Scotland's second match of the 2015 Six Nations will be against Wales on Sunday and Hogg wants to exploit the weaknesses of the Welsh, who lost 21-16 to England in Cardiff to begin.
"The boys are really confident [for the Wales match], obviously we are really disappointed with this result [against France] but we know where we went wrong," Hogg said.
"Myself and the boys are massively excited for the challenges ahead and we are very much looking forward to facing Wales at Murrayfield next week.
"We watched their game against England on Friday and we know it's going to be a tough test.
"But we watched them closely and we know where Wales are strong and where their weaknesses lie and hopefully on Saturday we can exploit that."
Hogg added that Scotland will not abandon the attacking style of rugby that has become synonymous with their team since Cotter took over as coach in May last year.
"We know where we went wrong [against France]," the 22-year-old full-back said.
"Come Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in training we can hopefully make amends for that.
"Vern wants us to play an exciting brand of rugby and, hopefully, we have done that over the last little while.
"We had a good November and we are hoping to have a good Six Nations."
In the 2014 Six Nations, Wales thrashed Scotland 51-3.
