The 24-year-old has seven caps for France but has found his playing time limited at the Premiership champions with competition from England international Jamie George.

Tolofua began his career at Toulouse and won the Top 14 title in 2012 before moving to Saracens five years later.

He will replace Guilhem Guirado at Toulon, with the France captain set to join Montpellier following next year’s World Cup in Japan.
