Toulouse claim No.1 spot in Top 14

Despite missing superstar Antoine Dupont due to a late withdrawal through illness, the reigning double champions reclaimed top spot from Bordeaux-Begles.
They also claimed the title of “autumn champions” as the domestic league reached it’s midway point.
First-half tries from Julian Marchand and Paul Graou gave the hosts a 14-6 half-time lead against their Parisian opponents.
France international No.10 Romain Ntamack scored his first try of the campaign shortly before the hour mark as Toulouse went on to earn a bonus-point victory thanks to two further tries by hooker Peato Mauvaka.
Bordeaux-Begles had gone top on Saturday with a 21-17 victory over the third placed Toulon which took them to 45 points.
Toulouse’s bonus-point win the following day moved them a solitary point clear of the southwestern rivals after 13 rounds of the 26-match season.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Racing 92 were held to a 25-all draw with 13th placed Lyon and Perpignan getting the better of La Rochelle by 21-13.
