Ireland suffer Six Nations' blow
INJURY UPDATE: Ireland will have to readjust their pack following the news of Iain Henderson.
Ulster’s second row will miss most of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign due to a thumb injury.
According to the online magazine the IrishNews, Henderson is expected to be sidelined for at least 10 weeks following the surgery.
Aside from missing majority of the Six Nations, Henderson will also miss a host of important games for Ulster including two Champions Cup Pool games.
The British and Irish Lion had surgery on a torn ligament in his thumb and wants to be fully fit for next year’s World Cup.
However, for now, he will miss Ireland’s Six Nations games at home to England on February 2, and away to Scotland and Italy on February 9 and 24.
