Six Nations news: Ireland's serious injury list

INJURY UPDATE: Not only does Ireland have to deal with the aftermath of a defeat to England in the Six Nations, but the No.2 side also sit with a few injury concerns.

The reigning champions, who suffered a 20-33 defeat in Dublin, will have to take on Scotland without the services of CJ Stander.

Stander sustained a facial injury that could rule him out for up to four weeks.

While, Joe Schmidt’s side face an anxious wait on Keith Earls, Devin Toner and Garry Ringrose’s availability ahead of their Six Nations clash against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Earls suffered a hip pointer injury will be managed across the early part of the week.

Toner aggravated an ankle injury and Ringrose reported some hamstring tightness both will be further assessed by the medical team over the next 24 hours.

Munster wing Andrew Conway has been released from the Ireland camp due to some calf tightness following training last Thursday.
